68
Based on MHRD notification for teachers and other staffs' pay package, everyone is interested to know the pay and arrears. However, there are several unanswered questions in view of non-release of fitment tables by UGC. Here, it has been attempted to provide a handy tool to calculate the arrears consequent upon revision of salary structure. 6CPC tables and pay fixation is difficult to follow due to different grade pays from the 6CPC grade pays. There are several other problems related to pay fixation in case of UGC pay package. Even in 6CPC, tables were prepared using bunching for Pay band IV. There are minimum pay for different entry points based on grade pays.
In absence of clear cut guidelines, its a uphill task to fix pays of several categories. The pay calculator given here is yet to be updated based on release of fitment tables by UGC. In the mean time this program can be tested by the users and errors may be rported in the comment box below.
