Payal was a software engineer who had lot of expectations in her acting career when she entered bollywood. But, she got only small roles like item numbers and she did not get notice for being in the midst of brightest stars of bollywood in her earlier movies.
Now it's PRIYADARSHAN film DHOL where she has played a good role of a singer and is paired opposite Arbaaz Khan...DHOL as this was her only film release this year 2007.
