Mimi,

Pedigree doesn't have any recalls for this product at this time. Of course, the pet food and pet treats being recalled roll in nearly daily. Today, Ol'Roy had even more products recalled. Pedigree does have a class action against the company for the deaths and illnesses of pets related to "truth in advertising". I'm sure you have read the class action reports stating the use of euthanized dogs and cats in the pet food along with too many other bad things. If you have not read the class action reports you certainly need to!

I wouldn't feed this to any of my pets. I don't think this is a treat at all.

Oh, don't forget that June 17 - June 23 is the National Pet Food Boycott. Too many pets have died due to these pet foods and we are standing up to the pet food producers. Feed a jar of baby food if you don't have time to cook. That should hold you over until the boycott has passed.

I just chanced upon this site. My bichon suffered with diarrhea after eating the DentaStix. I'll be throwing what's left of them away. The label makes no mention of wheat, only starch. This is a deceptive omission.

Spudman,

You may wish to hang on the the remainder of the product in case you must prove your point one day. Look for the receipt and keep the origianl container...place in the freezer.

Susan
