Ask Susan Peters Dog Food Ingredients Review:

By-Products - Floor sweepings from a rendering plant. By-products are pet food ingredients which include feathers, hair, manure ... anything not fit for human consumption.

Meat - Any meat, including cats, dogs, lab "test" animals which does not fall under the catagory of beef, chicken, fish, etc.

Meat By-Products - dogs and cats with their collars still on. Plastic wrap from disposed beef from the grocery store, etc.

Meat and Meat By-Products could include sick and dying pets. Animals that were euthanized and the drugs used to kill them.

Corn and Wheat - cause skin itching, hot spots, ear aches, ear infections, excessive nail growth, tumors, fever, bloating, paw licking, heart conditions, edema, inflamed liver, inflamed kidneys, blindness, and death.

Natural Flavors - natural flavors of what? Usually the "flavors" optained from the manure of the animal the pet food ingredients list. Chicken "flavored" pet food ingredients would include chicken manure.

Pedigree Pet Foods has a Class Action filed against the company for false advertising.

After reviewing the Pedigree Pet Food label listing the pet food ingredients I feel this style of Pedigree dog food is a poor choice in dog food nutrtion. - Susan Peters
