Fresh Flowers: You can keep your fresh cut flowers days longer is you drop a copper penny and tsp. of sugar into the vase of water. The copper and sugar feed the flowers. if you cover your fresh flowers in the evening with a plastic, grocery, shopping bag they will last longer. Flowers like the dark in the evening just as we do. Enjoy.

,Bee or Wasp Stings:. if you happen to be around anyone that gets stung by a bee or wasp grab a penny, tape and or band-aid. Apply the copper penny to the sting, tape onto the skin. Relief is immediate.The copper pulls out the stinger. Keep on for about an hour.

One summer day while shopping at a discount store I picked up a picnic basket and out came wasps I was stung multiple times.I went to the ER. I was given a shot to stop the action. The ER DOC told me about the penny remedy. He had learned it from his grandmother. I can not help but chuckle to think of looks I would have got if I walked out of the ER taped in pennies.

PS FYI The discount store and rightly so paid for my ER visit then surprised me with $500. Bee Safe , LOL

School Crafts: As a fourth grader we made this fun project. It was simple, fun, and only pennies on the dollar to make. We each brought a clean, plastic, empty bottle (ketchup, water, mustard, syrup, or the likes) to school. We decorated the bottles using paste, tape, paper, and imagination. We put pennies inside and had noise makers for the field day at school. We then had new penny banks to take home with our ribbons. LOL

Girlie Craft: I was a Girl Scout leader for several years.This was a big hit. Not only simple fun, and priceless, it only cost pennies on the dollar to make.The girls were proud of their designs and workmanship. Each girl brought a large barrette and or a head band I gathered pennies, buttons, sparkles, and beads from home. I helped with the hot glue gun while the girls made beautiful head ornaments. Let Dry overnight. LOL

Store plastic grocery bags:.Take an empty tissue box or cleaned and empty vertical tube. ( Windex wipes etc.) Fold the plastic bags, then place place inside the tube or tissue box.This is a keeper in my household. The remedy took care of my mumble, jumble mess under my kitchen sink. Rub cooking oil on top of the vertical tube.The bag slides right out when you need it.
