I have learned the value of stock market news.  One service offers news hourly with analysis.  The format is great offering information on the stocks most in play or having the most action for the day.   As you read the short news releases, watch for key words that will tip you to an upward or downward movement in a stock. 

Keys to possible moves upward are sales are better than predicted, New analysts has begun coverage, profits are up,.......   Just the opposite can cause the stock to drop.   As you read the news, watch the stock for a day.  See what happens.  Over time you will find what information will have an impact on a stock and what the impact is.   Will the stock go up or down with the news.  The more you determine correct results, the better you will be as an investor.   The great thing is this news is not only relevant to a group of stocks and prices, it may offer information on stocks not normallly followed.    The more you learn the better your investments.   I have found stocks that were priced under $1.00 in play.  I have invested and made money knowing this information.   Don't invest money you can't afford to  lose.  Nothing is a guarantee.  When you learn more, you will discover what is successful and not be afraid to invest or not invest.   It is a great lesson to learn and utilize.
