Father Martin Real Dela Cruz
Fr. Martin Real dela Cruz was the first rector and chancellor of the University of Santo Tomas (UST). In the year 1645, Psychology was being taught in UST as part of the curriculum in Philosophy.
Dr. Henry Townsend
Dr. Henry Townsend was the American who greatly marked in the establishment of the Department of Psychology and Philosophy at the University of the Philippines (UP) in the year 1910.
Dr. Agustin Alonso
Dr. Agustin Alonso was appointed in 1926 as chairman of the Independent Department of Psychology.
