To Apply for Pep Boys online, from the home page look in the lower right hand corner for the word "careers" and click it. The page that loads will give you an overview of the type of employment that they offer. At the bottom of this page you will see the words "apply online". Click this option and you will go to the next page.

This page will let you search for jobs that are available in your area. Once you have found a job that you are interested in, click it. A separate page will then load. It will have a few words that describe the job you are interested in. If you are interested in the job, click "apply now."

The next page will ask if you want to fill out the application in English or Spanish. Choose your language and click the continue button.

The next page tells you that you will need to submit to a "pre-qualification" before you can proceed to the actual online job application. Click the continue button and you will be taken to a page that asks if you have read the privacy policy and agree to accept it. If you have read it, click that option and continue.

The next page asks for your name and contact information. Enter it and continue. Make sure you use capitalization in all the appropriate places.

The next page asks if you can provide documentation that you are able to work in the United States legally. Click yes and continue. The next page of the online job application asks if you are at least 17. If you are at least 17, check yes and continue.

The next page asks if you want work in a distribution center or a store. Click the appropriate answer and continue.

The next page asks if you are willing to sign a mutual agreement to arbitrate claims before being hired. Make sure you know what this is before you click yes. Clicking no does not stop the application process, but if you click no you will be given a "thank you for applying" message.

The next page of the job application asks if you are willing to submit to a credit check. Click the appropriate answer and continue.

The next page asks if you are willing to submit to a drug test. Click the appropriate answer and continue. The next page asks if you are willing to follow the rules and regulations of Pep Boys. I would click yes on this one, and then continue.

If you have answered everything correctly, you will then begin the application. The page you should be looking at asks if you are male or female. The nest three pages are voluntary questions. After these you will be asked how you learned about the position. Answer the question and continue.

The rest of the online job application is pretty self explanatory. Fill it out, wait one day, and then give them a follow up call.
