How to be an employer who is highly respected and appreciated by his/her employees?

If you are a manager of a small company or a huge corporation, respect of employees play a major role in the success of the company’s overall performance. What differentiates good manager from bad one is a realization that your employees are your asset.  

I have been working in different companies and realized that not the type of a job I did but the people I worked with created the friendly  environment and drive to work hard and implement to the organization’s success. I have been noticing every single detail which made me happy at work, because I knew that it would help me in my personal career. My profession is management by itself and tactics used for succeeding in business turned out to be so obvious.

When manager is approaching his/her workers with respect and appreciation motivate people to grow and do more than is asked. Smile in the morning, thanking for completed task, wishing good day, and asking if there something you can help with, make such a dramatic change in people’s vision towards work itself. Employees start loving going to work, because they feel appreciated.

At the end of the day when you are leaving the office wish a good evening.

Share the news of the company on the daily basis, so people know what is going on around them.

On Monday, ask how the weekend passed by.

Have a lunch together once a month or two months, it brings family feeling and creates perfect atmosphere for brainstorming and coming up with innovative ideas and strategies.

Congratulate your employees with upcoming holidays and give small gift, simply chocolate, diary, or something small but enjoyable.

Do not forget birthdays and make this day special for your employee. Maybe half day of work would be possible or bouquet of flowers and cake.

As soon as a person feels special and appreciated, she or he would so grateful and spread the news about the excellence of the company. Word of mouth is considered the most efficient way of advertisement. But the most important is that it would happen so naturally.

It is very crucial to remember that all these actions must be sincere and come from the heart.

You will be so surprised to see the changes which happen. Such an attitude will not only improve the company’s performance but also bring so much light to people’s lives.
