Weight loss plans and weight loss scams seem to pollute the entire dieting market in the world these days.  How do you know what diet to follow and what plans get results?  This site is made to help you lose weight and keep it off permanently, while helping you decide if and what diet plans and programs to enter.

The first piece of advice I can give you and that applies to nearly every marketed item in the universe is:  if it seems to good to be true, it probably isn't true.  Weight loss programs and diets seen on tv commercials and internet ads concentrate on making a profit and if their plans and products worked as good as they say they did, they wouldn't make any money off of them because consumers wouldn't need the product anymore.

Do not decide to quit a recent weight loss endeavor you've just started up, however!  The truth is, about 70% of the weight loss programs and diets out there can be effective if the consumer applies themselves wholely to the program and/or product.  Losing weight is possible and can be done with or without such programs.

Out of personal experience, I participated in wrestling the last several years and needed to lose 20 lbs for a period of three months.  I already only weighed 135 lbs and looked like a walking stick.  If I can lose 20 lbs and keep it off healthily for the length of my diet plan, I am positive that someone that has extra pounds to lose will be able to as well!

Heres the deal, be honest with yourself about losing weight.  Too many people resort to using water pills for instant gratification.  These are, put plain and simply, terrible for you.  Dehydration will just make losing fat the correct way nearly impossible!  It is not easy to lose weight permanently, but after you start it seems pretty easy!

The commercials on television that tell kids to get off of the couch and go outside to excercise emulate the most essential step into losing weight.  You can eat as much as you darned want as long as you're willing to excercise the extra amount of calories and fat off afterwards.  Right now if you eat the same average amount of food and calories and go for a fifteen minute walk or jog, you'll not only start to lose a little bit of weight but you'll be able to exercise longer and longer each time.

Do not just stop eating!!!  I cannot stress this enough, as the health implications are so numerous and damaging to your body.  Eating a balanced diet, yes your vegies are good for you, and trying to drink water and milk will help replace trans fat foods like desserts, chips, and pops.  A common error with salad diets are the dressings put on, however, as some salad dressings will give you as much or more calories than a normal meal would!

So basically the essental steps to losing weight and keeping it off (sorry for the missing magical formulas) are diet and exercise.  Be careful when choosing a weight loss plan to assist you in losing weight, as many will just try to help you lose a few pounds for just a month until the weight piles back on in a couple days.  From the experience of people and friends I have met, group weight loss seminars and programs seem like a good path to take, as you have more support and encouragement.

Do not give up on yourself.  Believe that you can look the way you want to!  Make assesments of how full you are during a meal and if you really need that third plate.  I even encourage you to pray for assistance in being healthy.  Lastly, ask your family members for assistance, after the first few days this will pay off tremendously!  I sincerely hope that you will healthily reach your weight loss goals and I aim to provide more in-depth information in the future.
