Pesks

I find insects, insects of all kinds to be a pesk. Insects from ants to spiders to flies all are pesks.

Why do I consider them to be a pesk? Well, ants to start with will come up to your food, walk all over it and carry pieces of your food away with them. I have watched ants do this time and time again.

Spiders are next on my list of pesks. Spiders are ugly to start with. I have seen a black widow spider up close and it was gross with it's little red spot. Spiders bite too so I don't trust a spider.

Flies have got to be the absolute worst ever. They are dirty and disgusting. Flies will get on your food and in your face and just everywhere you don't want them to be.

I think insects are pesks because they are so small and when we try to swat at them they seem to run the other way. It always seems to me that when I go to swat a fly with a fly swatter that it knows there is a fly swatter in my hand because it disappers and when I put the fly swatter down, the fly comes back to annoy me again.

I understand that there are some insects that useful. Take a bee for example. Without the bee we wouldn't have honey and our flowers wouldn't pollenate.

I think the only insect I do like is a butterfly because they are pretty and they are not a pesk. I think the monarch butterfly are the most beautiful insect I have ever seen. I love the colours of them. I haven't seen too many monarch butterflies in the past few years and that is sad.
