This hub is being written to introduce you to my new website called Pet-Hubs. I will write hubs on occasion to let everybody know of the updates to the site and also hoping to get some suggestions for hubbers and any body that loves pets. This is going to be a Social Network kind of like Hubpages but its for Pet Owners to Brag about their Pets. You will be able to create a profile about you and you pet and also add videos, pictures, and blog about your pet or anything to do with pets. I am hoping to get suggestions or Ideas on how to promote my website and I am hoping some members join my new social network. This is an ongoing hub and will be updated as things happen. This is a hub to take you thourgh creating your own social network.

I went to eBay and Searched on Social Networks and found a auction for a Social Network with a starting bid of .99 and placed my bid. After checking my bid last night I was still winning. Just to say I won at .99 cents. So I did something and came up with the idea of a Pet Social Network. Went to my favorite Domain Name Company Allstarnic.com and search for domain ideas. Since I am a member of hubpages I thought how about pethubs and check and it was available. I think its a great name and I am excited about getting it. So of course I have purchased it for 12.19 ( this includes private registration). Its now my domain name and I have won the bid for the software. This is just day one and I have sent my payment in and info for my new domain. I am now waiting for the seller and hoping he sets me up quickly. I cannot wait, I am excited.

OK i just finished getting my hosting from the person I won my eBay auction from. They sent me a email with a link to purchase a domain and hosting. I already owned my own domain because I purchased it from my own website and no I am getting closer to getting started. Since I purchased the Hosting I got about 5 emails about payment to pay-pal, welcome letters and hosting information. The important thing for me was to find out what the new nameserver address would be so I could ad it to my domain names info. I took care of that and might have to wait a day to get it to point to hosting. To check I just have to visit my domain name pet-hubs and once its resolved the address I will contact the seller that I am ready for him to setup my site.

I have purchased advertising from Backpages and this week I will bookmark at about 10 social networks. So far I have bookmarked this site at Stumbleupon. The changes I Will be working on this week are photo for home page and a free ebook to add, I several already I am just working on the delivery method. My goal is to reach 5000 members in one year or about 320 a month. Might be hard at first but I am willing to spend money to get there. I am also going to work on the Introduction.
