Right 50% of the population isn't going to have a clue what i am talking about..(the ones that sit down in the toilet). I am a complete and total petrol head, there is nothing that sounds better to me that a fast motorcycle or car going flat out with the pistons doing their best to escape from the engine.

Whereas poerty or music may stir the souls of the masses engines and more precisely the sound and smell of them do it for me.

I spent most weekends from the age of 18 to (ahem) 40 racing one kind of motorcycle or another and even now my most abiding memory of the starting grid of some of my first races when I was racing 2 strokes.

Back then 2 strokes ran on Mineral Based oil and In particular Castol R, As a novice I had to start at the back and ride though the smoke of 40 bikes spewing clouds of smoke the smell was superb.

The sound of Cars and Bikes is like music to my ears it doesn't matter if's Ducati vtwin or a V10 ferrari it's like the finest symphony. I was having a browse through the intenet today and came across a video of a F150 Harley Davidson Edition doing a flat out run on a public road.. (yeah i know it''s not big and it's not clever but boy is it fun... err and don't forget about the sin's and casting stones bit from the bible before you start to complain!)

The sound of it was out of this world a cross between a car and a jet taking off from an aircraft carrier. I could watch this and listen to this for hours..All that is lacking is the smell of 2 stroke
