The San Diego, California native was born in the summer of 1970. He spent half of his life in sand diego, california and the other half in Arizona. He has earned the nick name “lefty” because he swings with his clubs with his left hand but he is right-handed. In 1988 he graduated from the University of San Diego Highschool. This was his first PGA Tournament win in. He became one of four men two win a PGA tournament as an amateur.
