Photos That I Wish Could Make me Rich and Famous but Most Certainly will not.
77I like photography, but am well aware that outside of some miraculous occurrence, or some seriously hard work on my part, I probably won't make a living at it. Which, honestly is fine with me, since it is one art form I really don't have a great amount of respect for. After all, what is photography but simply recording images of the creations of animals, God, or mankind? Most anyone can recognize beauty. The true "art" behind photography is having the money to invest in a really nice camera, and having the perseverance to sit in one spot for hours on end, or to wake up at 4am to get that perfect shot.
So my point is, I won't ever be a famous photographer, but thanks to HubPages, I can at least showcase some of my favorites, and garner some satisfaction from knowing that someone is looking, and just maybe...liking what they see.

What a beautiful collection! This photos will certainly make you famous.
Sent you a mail regarding the photos.
All the Best.
Thanks Paraglider and Sunseven!
Loved your pictures, every one of them!!!!! Now go out and bring us more!!! Thank you very much....
This is a wonderful collection of your travels. I love the green paint one, but all are great!
Petra is incredibly fascinating...
Don't sell yourself short. These are great. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the comments all! Yeah SweetiePie, that's one of my faves too. I got some strange looks while taking it, but well worth it. And t.keeley, I couldn't agree more, Petra is an amazing place.
These are really incredible. I do like the scenery and city view pics, but the ones that I love are where you took an extraordinary scene and added human interest to it. You can forget after seeing pictures of temples and landscapes, but the flash of bright blue on the weary man amongst the pillars in Luxor Egypt, or the man with his donkey...these are the kind that touch me. I think they are great and would love to see more.
All of the photos are great. I think my favorite is The peaks of Meteora in Greece. You actually can make money off of some of your photos at places like http://www.istockphoto.com
You can upload photos and if people download and use them you will get a small percentage. I'm hoping when my kids grow up my wife and I can finally travel. Or at least when they are older we could all go.
Beautiful photos. Incredibly framed!
Well, I don't know whether you'll become rich and famous from these wonderful images, but you've certainly had the good fortune to have visited these locales, and been given the talent to "see" with your camera so talentedly.
Wow. You have a great eye. Thanks for sharing these.
These are beautiful! How lucky you are to see such beautiful places. You have a great talent! I wish I could take pictures half as good as these. If you have tips I would love you to share them with me, I am a new photographer and have done some work in sports photography for my local paper and would love you to take a look at them and give me your opinion.
Remebered this hub that you might find interesting also.
The photos are amazing! to have visited such exotic and beautiful places, you should never consider yourself broke, but so much richer in spirit. :)
Great intro and excellent photos. I imagine what the photos would be like with the expensive equipment
lovely photos! my best is : the wild flowers trying to say 'stop and admire me. there is still life at the ruins'!
thanks for sharing.
HI JREUTER,
WONDERFUL PICTS.
Pictures like yours make me feel as if I was traveling there myself. Great work! As good as any "professional" pics I've seen.

Love your photos. Children doing chores, one of the few signs of life, are very appealing to me but, I especially adore the Western Wall. Thanks so much for sharing with us. C.S.
These are some great photos jreuter. My favourite one is the man resting in Luxor.
You got some great shots, a lot of vertical interest. I actually liked the windmills and how they faded off to the right. Loved the blue boats in Egypt. My favorite was the Western Wall.
Thanks Randy, I just wish I had had my color film with me when I shot those windmills. Mykonos is so colorful, and all I had was black and white! ARG!
Greece is definitely on my list of must sees. All the cobalt and white stucco, water and boats... some day.
I love the picture with the cat!
Yeah, he was hilarious. He just sat there forever, watching that fish in the aquarium. pretty cute.
WOW. You have taken some awesome photos! I envy that you have traveled the world and seen such beautiful sights. You also have an eye for what is beautiful and just the right angle to photograph from. How inspiring!
Maybe not rich yet, but why not hope for being famous?
fantastic pictures! I wish I could do the photography like you do. But I am more interested in watching the picturesque than capturing it :) nice job!
