Piano Tutor
68When i was still a little child, I've always dreamed of becoming a big piano star. I am just so amazed when I watch other people, most especially my friends and relatives play the piano with so much grace! I remember watching one of my cousin's piano recital and finding myself in awe after hearing him play a classical tune. If you are looking for a piano tutor, there are a few things that you would like to know:
Before anything else, make sure that the piano instructor knows what he is doing. Look at his credentials. Is this his first time to teach? Or is he a man of experience? I am not suggesting that you look for a grandmaster of piano players. But be sure to look for someone who is really good at this art. You wouldn't expect a kid to play the basketball as good as Michael Jordan if he learned to play basketball from someone who has no idea at all what basketball really is, and how the game is really played.
Playing the piano entails a lot of practice. You may have the best teacher in the world, and you may be paying a lot big amount of money in order for your son/daughter to develop his or her skills as a piano player, but you do not allot time for your child to practice what he is learning, then you are just wasting your time. It is very important to repeat and repeat the very basic piano pieces that is being taught to your child. This way, your child can commit all the mistakes. Which brings us to my next point, mistakes.
It is important to instill in your child as early as possible the value and importance of committing mistakes. Never condemn your child for committing mistakes. Instead, encourage him to learn from those mistakes and just focus on improving himself to be a better piano player. Who knows, he might just be the next mozart!
When it comes to budget, it really boils down to the piano tutor that you will get for your child. A more experienced tutor will of course cost you more money, but it will definitely be worth it.
What are you waiting for, look for a good piano tutor right now and start on your path towards becoming the next Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, or even the great Snakeeyesjones!
