We all know the importance of regular exercise for good health. The question is, what kind of exercise do we want to do. If exercise isn't fun, we tend to slack off and eventually quit.
Well, I recently found the perfect exercise for me. I've been introduced to the great sport of Pickleball. I love it!
As soon as my friend said it looked a lot like tennis, I knew I wanted to give it a try. Boy am I glad I did.
Pickleball is played on a small tennis-looking court, is scored a lot like badminton, and is played using a plastic wiffleball and oversized ping pong paddles.
For someone like me, who is over 50 years old, it is a perfect workout. It can be a good cardio vascular workout if you play singles and simply a good old time when you play doubles with a partner.
I will get some more information together for all you who are looking for a healthy, yet easy-to-learn sport.
