This is a series on the Famed Temples of South India.

Let's start with the Temples of Karnataka. when i say Temples of karnataka, It takes me to the Famed "Sri Nanjundeshwara Temple" at Nanjangud.

Nanjangud is a small town situated 22 Kms from another Historic City, Mysore and at a distance of 165 Kms from Bangalore, Garden City. The town is also blessed with Industrial development estates that houses corporates like Nestle India Ltd, Brakes India Ltd, etc to name a few. The Town is accessible by Rail and Road. This town is blessed to being the abode of Nanjundeshwara, one of the many names of the Destroyer, Lord Shiva.

The Temple observes and celebrates many rituals in the annual calender. One such occassion is the 'Maha Shivarathri'. On this day, one must be blessed to witness the Grandeur and Royalty at its best.
