I’ve done a lot of things in internet marketing over the past few years. I’ve worked with affiliate marketing, article marketing, adsense, blogging, and others. But by far the most thrilling and fulfilling thing that I have ever done is to produce my own product, promote, and sell it.

I discovered flipping websites in 2008 like so many other marketers. I had known about buying and selling websites for a couple of years, but never really took a look at it until this summer.

  I also learned over the course of many months that a lot of other marketers where also creating websites and flipping them quickly for cash.  I began to study the successful and established sellers on Sitepoint, eBay, DigitalPoint forums, etc. to learn how to get an edge on the competition.

  I learned a lot of neat tips and tricks just from studying these sellers.  I also purchased a couple of very good ebooks from the warrior forum on website flipping.  I used all of the information at my disposal to come up with my own unique process for selling websites.

  After awhile I began to see comments in some of the forums that I was apart of about the difficulties of selling websites.  I couldn’t understand why so many folks were having problems selling their sites.  The more I read and responded to comments the more I wanted to help.

All of a sudden I had rave reviews coming in from satisfied customers. I felt really good. I also had several well known marketers such as Willie Crawford, Dave “TheToolWhiz” Schwartz, and Guy Smith promoting the ebook as affiliates.

Affiliates loved the ebook because it was easy to sell. Currently the ebook is still converting 14% of the customers who come to the homepage. Now I expect that as more affiliates begin to sell the ebook the conversions will go down, but for now the conversions are spectacular.
