This recipe of pineapple smoothie is best for making a quick breakfast drink as it contains lots of carbohydrates and proteins. Breakfast is an important meal in our daily life and since it begins with the day, we need some extra energy to get things started and keep working the whole day. Hence rich carbohydrate foods must be taken preferably in breakfast as it serves as fuel for our body and this pineapple smoothie prepared in no time, provides you with maximum energy that your body requires.      

Ingredients: 

  • 1 cup canned pineapple pieces (fresh preferred) 
  • 2 cup coconut milk 
  • 1 cup canned strawberry

Instructions:

  1. Put pineapple pieces and cherries in a blender with half quantity of coconut milk and blend them together to form a smooth paste. I used my oster classic beehive blender for making this easy pineapple smoothie. It does the job pretty well and with its powerful motor of 500 watts, I am able to make all sorts smoothies in just a few seconds.
  2. Now add rest of the milk and mix them together.
  3. Pour the smoothie in serving glass and garnish with some pieces of strawberries or mint leaves. If you are making it for yourself then no need to do the garnishing. Just take it out from blender and drink your yummy smoothie.
