You may find some of these Pittsburgh Steelers trivia questions a little easier than some of the others, but I think you will find all of them to be challenging.
Scoring:

1. The Steelers were originally named the Pittsburgh Pirates and were a member of the Eastern Division of the 10-team NFL.
2. Ernie Stautner (Inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1969) remains the only Steelers player to have his jersey retired. The Steelers retired jersey No. 70 on October 25, 1964.
3. Noll was hired on January 27, 1969.
4. Noll selected defensive tackle Joe Greene with his first choice in 1969.
5. Three Rivers Stadium opened in 1970.
6. The “Immaculate Reception" was made on December 23, 1972.
7. The Pittsburgh defense led the way to a 16-6 victory over the Minnesota Vikings.
8. The score was 2-0, in favor of Pittsburgh. The only score in the first half was a safety registered by the Steelers’ Dwight White who tackled Vikings' quarterback Fran Tarkenton in the end zone for a safety in the second period.

Rod Woodson played for the Steelers from 1987-1996. During that time the following players played opposite him as either left or right cornerbacks. Dwayne Woodruff, D.J. Johnson, Deon Figures and Willie Williams.
