1st. Prepare the dough for crust. I suggest you prepare dough one day before baking the pizza.Yo get the best dough you will need to allow it to rise in your refrigerator over night. This will produce a great commercial style crust.
Combine the warm water, sugar and yeast in a small bowl, stir until dissolved. Let sit for 5 minutes until it foams.
In a large bowl sift together the flour and salt, make a depression in the center and pour in the yeast mixture. Add oil. Slowly combine all ingredients into a ball..
Dust a clean flat surface with flour, knead the dough until smooth consistent texture. This should take ten minutes.Rub a light coating of oil on the dough, then put in tight container and a warm place to rise for 2 hrs or until double size. When double size punch down, put back in container and refrigerate overnight. You can use right away, but that procedure gives best results.
You can prepare sauce ahead of time too..Heat tomato sauce, lemon juice and spices. Simmer slowly for 30 to 60 minutes until desired thickness.
1 hr before using dough take out of refrigerator till room temp. Preheat oven to 475 degrees
Roll out dough on floured surface until 18 in across. Put dough on greased pan or has a sprinkling of corn meal on it. Poke the pizza several times with a for to prevent bubbling. Place a ring of cheese from end to end all the way around. Fold dough over cheese, press firmly.Brush top of folded dough with olive oil. Cover with sauce, spread toppings and sprinkle with mozzerella cheese. Bake for 12 to 16 min until crust turns dark brown and cheese has dark spots. Enjoy!! Pizza Hut at home:.) thank-you, i will try out the recipe. My only problem is that my oven only goes up to 250 degrees. What should i do in this instance? will it have a different outcome if i put it a 250 degrees for a longer period than 12 -16 mins?
