The never-ending stream of disasters in recent memory have made some to seriously think of how the world would end. Predictions have come and gone with the more recent ones about the world coming to end at the start of the millenium have come to pass and our world is still around spinning in its axis.

But there is a scenario that comes to its fruition by 2012 (which is very near) and to be really felt with its signs by 2009.

What makes this scenario interesting and probably plausible is that there is 'science' involved, its seeming connection to the supposedly visits of UFOs and other 'evidence' of extraterrestrial activity being increasingly reported in mainstream media.

With the advent of this Planet X or Nibiru in our solar system, destruction is sure to follow with planetary consequences and that humankind may be decimated when this happens. Another view would take on the inhabitants of that planet would supposedly usher in a new era of peace, prosperity and human advancement.

And what makes me excited about this is that the signs of this Planet X coming without a shred of doubt is by the coming year 2009 where as some pundits would share it would be very visible even to the naked eye...

Scary thought or should we be excited when this happens, isn't it?...

Yes, its as plausible as any coming end-of-the-world scenario but as another website, Exit Mundi, would like to say the Planet X scenario is filled with incongruencies and contradictions.

For starters, the translation of the Sumerian texts where this Planet X or Nibiru was first recorded was filled with errors. Among many other inconsistencies, the science part of it is also faulty. Any planet that comes around every 3,600 years or so has no scientific basis of existence for any planetary object that supposedly orbits that way is cast off to the outer region of the solar system or becomes part of our solar system.

So for me, Planet X, is to be seen and proven. The 2009 or 2012 when the 'prophecies' are about to come true is obviously near.

Well, I will just keep my tabs on reliable news outlets.
