Looking for a high quality pocket watch holder can be difficult. I know it because I have been doing it for ages. Since I am a fanatic pocket watch collector I need to have good holders to keep my fob watches in order and in perfect condition. The case needs to have proper insulation to prevent any effects caused by the differences in the humidity and the temperature might cause to the delicate movements of the watches.

I do have a bunch of antique pocket watches and they are ones that are really old. Not from the 1940's but as fas as the 1800's. So that makes them quite valuable and I don't want anything to happen to my priceless models. That is why my pocket watch holders are very high quality. I also have some pocket watch parts that are spares that I got from a friend of mine who is also a collector. He had his collection stolen so he sold me the spares. He had a lot of mainsprings from hamilton pocket watches and skeleton models.

It is not easy to do pocket watch repair and it will usually take a lot of time and it will most definitely be expensive. Without proper attention you will most likely just destroy your clock and get in to trouble since the antique models are protected by laws that require you to take good care of them. They are a big part of the culture so you should not neglect it.

My pocket watch holders are designed especially for my models. I could not fit a digital pocket watch in there. Firstly I have no respect for the digital models because they are made in ridicule of the traditional models that have crown wind and are powered by a spring that is carefully forged to provide the correct amount of force. This way it is kept in perfect time. Although the pocket watches are not famous for their timekeeping proprieties you can get it to be very accurate if you have all the eight movements adjusted.
