Podcasting is easy

Quite often people think that podcasting is extremely hard. That's not the case with the tools that are available today.

If you use a WordPress blog, the plug-in pod press and have Audacity, you can easily have a podcast up in little time.

There are numerous free conference calls lines available which can allow you to interview somebody regardless of where they're at and get a free MP3 download. Take that MP3 and edit it with Audacity and you will have a podcast ready to upload.

You will need to get an FTP client so that you can upload the file easily especially as audio files can be quite sizable. There are a number of free FTP clients, so there is no extra cost involved, everything we've discussed so far is available for free online.

Posting your own WordPress blog with pod press and using Audacity to edit your MP3s is a very easy way to get your own podcast up and running.

Having a podcast on your blog will now allow you to submit your blog not only to the various RS as director he is thought to the various podcast directories to giving you even more chances to generate traffic back to your blog.
