By The Once Corrupt

Bound Forever

When the chains of light are shattered at my feet
And night comes swiftly as if freed
All I can think about  is you
With the moonlight in perfect harmony

In a dream beyond a dream
We meet to taste
The river beneath your skin
The sweet necter of life

I come closer to you in the moonlight
You tilt your head ever so slightly
A glimpse of animalistic lust you see flicker in my eyes
And you wonder now, how long now?

Before I come for it, the life I so desperately seek
The life you hide from me
The warmth I can't feel
That lay just beneath your skin

You don't see me move, but you know I do
Behind you, my hands rest gently on your arms
Anticipation electrifies the air
My breath warm against your neck

A chill runs down your spine
As you slide your hair to one side
Exposed, you know I can't contain myself
Time stands still, One breath bounds us forever in eternity

Your dream beyond a dream is pierced by Teeth
Ecstasy, as the pain subsides and slowly
You feel a oneness as your life becomes mine - Becomes ours.
Dying in my arms now, I stop.

And your ecstasy and oneness fades away
We are two once again
Your knees go weak, and I hold you
You look up at me, eyes sparkling green

It's cold now, but I keep you warm
A faint smile, a whisper in the night
Gentle kiss and slowly your big eyes close
As you become heavier, drifting into your dreams

Until the chain of light is shattered once more
And we meet to share our lives
Forever Bound in One breath
Within our dreams beyond our dreams..
