Country Bumpkin

Crow swoops in

one early morn.

Nips the berries.

eats the corn.

Pecks the pumpkins-

rat 'a' tat.

Naps on scarecrow's

rumpled hat.

Like the farmer

and his wife,

crow prefers

the country life.
