Poem - Passwords and Pin Codes

Passwords and Pin Codes
So many Passwords in my head
From when I wake up, till I go to bed.
It’s a wonder my hair hasn’t gone grey
For all the things to remember in one day.
.
Leaving Home I set the alarm with a code
If I forget the combination, I’ll wake the whole road.
Thank God, I press one button for the car
If it was a code, I won’t get too far.
.
A Bill is due today, must check the bank to see
Before they charge me with an Overdraft fee.
Security Question from the operator called Jane
asking the first and last letter of my Cat’s name.
.
Lunch time, at the store I pay for some books
And everyone’s giving me funny looks.
Keyed in my Pin 3 times, but machine rejects
Security guy smiles at me thinking “usual suspects”.
.
I’m tired and off to Seychelles on Holiday
My Other half gives me £10,000 to lock away.
Come evening, we decide to go out and have fun
I remember the digits to the Safe, all except one.
Now, what do we do?

Good hub!
There once was a lady named E
who rhymed so effortlessly.
Digits were bad,
we all were sad.
But we laughed anyway, tee hee!
Ha! Great fun and interesting poem! In college, I had to remember over 10 passwords. I used to have to remember a password for every dormitory until a friend in security gave me a universal code. Thanks, Lady_E!
Now that's a verse that everyone with a computer can relate to. Even without a computer the number of passwords is still high. This will become an ever increasing problem as old folks like me get even older.
yep relate to this great hub, like your style of writing
Lady E, I agree with Philipo, Very Creative! Blessings!
Thanks for your comments everyone. Always a pleasure to read from you all. :)
Nice Poem, Resspencer. Cheers. :)
Yes I agree and it's kind of madness to say the least to try and recall all of them.
I keep all of mine in a safe place in a few locations.
My cell phone being one and it is always locked with a master code and the codes are written in code too. LOL
If I lose the phone, my provider has everything backed up on their site.
Keep them written down and hidden as well as they are written in code besides being passwords.
Lady_E, I so enjoyed this poem and what wonderful rhyming throughout. Good job young lady---a delightful read as always!
good job. i can relate for sure .
I love it, that was so inventive. I love rhyming words anyway, although I've never shown that side of me yet, but watch out. (Smile)! Hey is that you? What a beautiful picture.
Lady_E, very enjoyable poem.
* Lol. Quietnessandtrust - the codes are written in codes? Oh.. I hope you never lose the Master Code. :)
* Aware and Floating mind - thanks for your comments. Nice of you to stop by. :)

* Cheers Fastfreta. Thanks for your comments. Looking forward to seeing that side of you. :)
Thanks for the smile.
Off to work where everything is password protected. Each day I hope the memory banks don't start to deteriorate, or I'd be in serious trouble.
I hope you finally remembered that one digit. LOL
Lol. Thanks Duchess. I'm glad you enjoyed the Poem. :)

Thanks David. :)
