Inner Yielding

Passion
Fire in your eyes burns so hot
Displaying your soul outward
Manifesting great assurance
To the one you revere
Your splendor overwhelms
The one who observes passion
Causing his eyes to see only the admirable
And never the trouble within
How can one gain such a mighty furnace
Without being consumed himself
Two souls become one as desire is more intense
Devouring both souls but yet only one
Fettered continually for eternity
To never disconnect again

Your poems make you think about what you mean - I like that.
I believe poetry should cause a reader to think and ponder. The message isn't always easily found, but can be found.

Thanks Sir Dent for sharing these poems, I really like the second poem, but its not the perfect poem for me because of its title and last lines. All are deeply passionate poems.
