Poetry: Poetry Keywords

I did a little research to find out what keywords I should use for the title of a poetry Keyword hub. Many times, before I publish a story I will do a bit of research to determine what keywords I will use in my tilte. By the title I mean the title of the webpage that appears at the very top of your browser. Go ahead look up there now. Most times, people rarely even look at that title.

That title tells the search engines what the page is about. In the world of SEO, that is really important real estate. I always tell my SEO clients, to make sure they don't put useless stuff in the title tag, which will appear at the top. The actual title of the page that people will see can be anything, but the title tag, which is what generates that title bar at the top needs to have your most important keywords first. Today I thought before I begin to write about poetry, which happens to be the word of the day for the Hublove contest, I would do a bit of "poetry Keyword research". Below I have a list of poetry keywords followed by a number, which is the number of searches for that phrase per day.

Now I probably would not recommend writing a hub and expecting it to rank for any of the words that are above 100 searches per day, unless you were going to put make the hub a serious resource with lots of great poetry keyword content. Anything above "poetry analysis" is not recommended for the timid. Please notice that the keyword phrase I am targeting is "Poetry Keywords" which does not even show up on the list...zero searches per day.

Doing a search in Google using "allintitle:poetry keywords" I find there are only 737 competing sites for the phrase, and putting quotes around "Poetry Keywords" tells me that there are no sites with that title. So it is almost 100% guaranteed that if I can get Google to visit this page, I will be number one for "Poetry Keywords".

My point of this article is that when you are writing, and if you would like to recieve any type of search engine traffic, do a little due dilligence(love that phrase, its so poetic...lol) to see what keywords people are using.

Hmm, maybe my next hub will be entitled Poetry terms with 156 searches per day, which makes it a sweet poetry keyword.
