There is a place where Angels walk,
Where the street lamps burn and the dogs bark;
Not where you'd expect an Angel to be found,
Right by your side here on the ground.

There is a place where Angels walk,
Where the buses run late and the lonely talk;
With long white gowns and flowing hair,
Call an Angel's name and they'll be there.

There is a place where Angels walk,
Where drugs are sold and demons stalk,
Angels protect with unconditional love,
Here on earth and up above.

Where people are slain while others gawk,
And people just do not understand,
To be an Angel, one must first be human.
