Poetry: Darkling
51This is one I wrote for a vampire poetry group. I keep hoping to find more members to join me, but it's already too late for this year with Halloween right around the corner.
DARKLING
Come to me my darkling
Why have you not fed?
Soon the dawn will arrive
And you will not be able to cross the sun-splashed gardens
I feel you growing weaker
But yet you tarry far from me
My blood is rich
Why feast on tourists when you can have me?
Hurry! Already the stars have gone to bed.Share it! — Rate it: up down [flag this hub]
I always enjoy visiting your hubs. Great to see your creative works here.
Cheers, Don
