Poetry of the Heart
63This poem was written at the request of a friend. She was writing a story and needed a poem for a marriage proposal. I truly hope you enjoy it.
Marry Me
My love soars above the eagle's aerie
Passion burns inside me when you are near
It's a great honor to even have met you
But a great blessing to be with you here
My spirit changed so much when we first met
You are always in my mind and my heart
I desire to be one essence with you
To live life full as we never depart.
It's my desire to know you feel the same
To learn if you will constantly be mine
I fervently ask you to marry me
Eternally after our hearts to entwine.

Very nice! I am curious to know if this was written for someone in particular and if so, did she say yes? I would certainly hope so!
