Pokemon Battle Revolution

Pokemon Battle Revolution features 11 different colosseums, each with changes to both normal play and prerequisists.

The attacks are more diverse, with each Pokemon acquiring their own animations allowing for most moves. Some of the animations feature both the attacking and defending Pokemon at the same time on the screen.

You can create and customize your trainers when in battle. You can change a trainer's apparel, accessories, hair color, and, in non-Japanese versions, skin color. You can unlock various outfits, that although serve no purpose in battle, make your trainers look spiffy in the Colosseums.

Pokemon Battle Revolution is the first Pokemon game to allow for online access in the United States; it is, also, the first online game for the Nintendo Wii console.

The game features two online modes. Battle with a Friend allows you to battle a friend using a 12- digit friend code, which is separate from the Wii console number. Battle with Someone lets you face off against a random opponent.

The Nintendo DS version of Battle Revolution cannot be used in online multiplayer mode. But, you can play random online battles; in these random battles, your trainer's custom greetings and your Pokemon nicknames are all changed to their native tongue- Japanese.

Pokemon Battle Revolution received mediocre reviews from critics. IGN gave it a 5.0 out of 10.

Pokemon Battle Revolution Guide

Q. How come people on Wi-Fi are able to use legendary, and I can't?

A. With Wi-Fi on Pokemon Battle Revolution, Nintendo put in a filter to keep out hacked pokemon, so so your pokemon at hacked, then you won't be able to use them with Wi-Fi. It was inteded to keep out the 999 shuckles without a guard and all one hit attacks or spiritbombs with the use of wonderguard. So, make sure that you are not using hacked pokemon; otherwise, you shouldn't be having any problems.

Q. Is the only pokemon you can get in the Pokemon Battle Revolution the surfing pikachu?

A. No, you can unlock Electivire and Magmortar following the instructions above.

Q. In Pokemon Battle Revolution, can you battle Pokemon at level 100?

A. Yes.

Q. When sharing one game cartridge with someone else, and you both are copying your pokemon to the DS PBR game, can you only use one DS pokemon game per file or one DS pokemon game per all 4 files?

A. It's one game per file, so that you have one game in your file, and your partner has one game in his file.

Q. When transfering shiney pokemon from Pearl or Diamon on Nintendo DS, is there a code to make the pokemon shiney on Pokemon Battle Revolution?

A. Unfortunately, there is no current code to make your pokemon shiney.

Q. I have Pokmeon diamond for DS. If I get Pokemon Battle Revolution will I benfit it in my Diamond game?

A. Pokemon Battle Revolution is pure battling, no RPG. You can use Diamond to benefit BR, and BR lets you get some exclusives in Diamond like a Surfing Pikachu.

  • New to the beach

Hey there, I'm chilebowl257. I'm a newer member of pokebeach forums. I visited pokebeach alot since it always had new information as soon as it was released about the video games and the tcg, so one day I decided to join the forums. I play the video games competitively and I collect the tcg cards for fun but after seeing the competitive aspect of the game may start to play more competitively. Hopefully I'll become a regular here on pokebeach forums. - 13 minutes ago

  • Psychic Renegade Decklist

This is my good deck and really don't want anybody to steal it even if they think it's bad. Thanks! Pokemon- 24 - 4 Ralts PL - 3 Kirlia PL - 1 Gallade SW - 1 Gardevoir SW - 1 Nidoran Boy RR - 2 Nidoran Boy SW - 2 Nidorino RR - 1 Nidoking RR - 1 Giratina PL 10 - 1 Giratina LA - 1 Giratina PL 9 - 1 Giratina Lv.X - 1 Farfetch'd SF - 1 Miltank SF - 1 Aerodactyl(GL) RR - 2 Unown(L) GE TSS- 14 - 4 Bebe's Search RR - 2 Team Galactic's Mars SW - 1 Lucian's Assignment RR - 1 Poke Ball DP - 1 Energy Pickup LA - 1 Energy Search DP - 2 Pokemon Rescue PL - 2 Life Herb PL Energy- 21 - 11 - 11 Strategy: My strategy is to start of with basics like Ralts, Miltank, or Farfetch'd to get my hand and pokemon ready for the rest of the battle. Aerodactyl GL can stop the opponent from evolving their pokemon to make it easier to KO pokemon. Unown L can get my pokemon back from the discard pile and ready to go in a couple of turns. Nidoran Boy SW has a collect to get my hand and poison the opponents pokemon, and Nidoran Boy RR is just a pokemon that stalls for me with Leer while I set-up. Nidorino uses Toxic to super poison the opponents pokemon and Frustration to help damage bench for Giratina (Lv.X or PL 10). All of the Giratina's have the same job of doing a good amount of damage, and Giratina Lv.X's job is to disrupt opponent's hands with Invisible Tentacles while spreading damage with Darkness Lost and putting KO'd pokemon in the Lost Zone. Kirlia is just a damager till Gallade or Gardevoir comes up. Gallade's job is to use Psychic Cut to do a lot of damage and do lot's of damage with Sonic Blade. Gardevoir uses Telepass so I can use my enemy's Supporters against them. Nidoking uses Territoriality to punish pokemon for attacking while Giga Horn devastates and Fling Away spreads damage. My main pokemon line is Ralts. And long story short my TSS's help my set-up or disrupt my opponent. Thanks for reading my uber-long decklist and please help me with my deck! - 15 minutes ago

  • Dark Wings

Hi. wanted to get some idears for my Fylgon/Weavile deck, since I need to get the cards before the upcoming tournament in germany after the worlds. Idear of the deck is to abuse the flygons rainbow float and weaviles power to freely switch pokémon and if something is to annyoing eliminate it with Dusknoir. You also boost your flygon. My problem is, that I have 2 flexible slots in the deck left. I filled it with pokedex handys, but thinking about trying darkrai. What do you suggest? Pokémon: (27) 4-3-3-1 Flygon RR (only trapinch is sw, because of gengar) 2-2 Claydol GE 2-2 Weavile SW 1 Azelf LA 1 Uxie LA 1-1 Palkia lv. • Fossil Vengeance + mini article (DP-AA)

I haven't posted here in a while, but since I got the idea for this deck thanks to the AA translations, I thought I'd post it. I'm guessing there will be a lot of these decks will be posted, but this one is different. It's different because it vaguely resembles a theme deck, and has a slightly different main attacker when compared to most Fossil decks (probably). Enough of me rambling, onto the list. Pokémon (17) 2 Omanyte (MD) 1 Omanyte (AA) 4 Omastar (AA) 2 Kabuto (MD) 1 Kabutops (AA) 2 Aerodactyl (AA) 2 Baltoy (GE) 2 Claydol (GE) 1 Uxie (LA) Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums (34) 4 Helix Fossil 4 Dome Fossil 4 Old Amber 4 Fossil Excavator 2 Roseanne's Research 4 Bebe's Search 3 Volkner's Philosophy 2 Night Maintenance 1 Luxury Ball 2 Warp Point 4 Rare Candy Energy (9) 7 Water 2 Fighting Strategy: OK, I'm hoping you can guess it, but for those of you who can't, I'll explain it. Basically, Omastar is your main attacker here. This deck will try to pile as many Fossils and Old Ambers into the Discard Pile as possible, and then attack with Omastar for lots of damage. Simple. How for a little explanation of the main cards, though most of these are obvious. Pokémon: Omastar: Main attacker and what the deck is built around. I hoped that was obvious. Omanyte: I use a mix of the two since they both have uses. The MD one will mainly be for getting a Helix Fossils or 2 from the Discard Pile onto the bench if needed, to try and get another Omastar set up. The AA one is probably quite nice early on, for drawing through the deck. Kabuto: This guy will sit on the bench and grab Fossils from the deck and put them on the bench for me, which is nice. They will then either be instantly discarded for Omastar's attack, or kepted for evolution purposes. That should be quite obvious really. Kabutops: Not exactly a main card, but it can be a nice little attacker for until you can get an Omastar set up. It's also quite nice since it's another way of getting Fossils and Old Ambers into the Discard Pile, whilst also dealing 70 for F. Not bad at all. Aerodactyl: Like Kabuto, it can grab Fossils from the deck. Unlike Kabuto, they can then also be used for the purpose of discard from the hand for Kabutops of Volkner's. Simple, and again, obvious. Claydol: The third attacker of the deck and will never draw cards. That's not necessarily true. Uxie: Quick draw. Search for it and draw loads of cards. And it can get rid of itself, which is nice. TSS's: Fossils: Guess. Fossil Excavator: Can be used as a Fossil Bebe's Search, or for getting Omastars or Omanytes back late game. Roseanne's Research: Only 2 since it's nice for getting Baltoy's, Uxie's and energies when needed, but since there isn't much it can grab, I doubt more are needed. Bebe's Search: Guess. Volkner's Philosophy: A good drawing card, and is another way of getting Fossils or unnecessary Fossil evolutions into the Discard Pile. The rest: Guess. Energies: Guess. Yeah, so, that's a slightly detailed explanation of the deck and it's cards. I do feel as though there are cards I'd like in the deck, but I can't find the space for. They are: SSU Relicanth (GE) Relicanth (SV) Felicity's Drawing BTS And probably some cards I've already forgotten. Translations: Omanyte LV.38 - Water - HP80 Stage 1 - Evolves from Helix Fossil [W] Collect: Draw 3 cards from your deck. [C][C] Tickle: 20 damage. Flip a coin, if heads the Defending Pokémon is now Paralyzed. Weakness: Grass (+20) Resistance: none Retreat: 1 Omastar LV.55 – Water – HP120 Stage 2 – Evolves from Omanyte [C][C] Time Spiral: Devolve 1 of your opponent’s Evolved Pokémon by 1 stage. The Pokémon card that’s removed from Devolving is shuffled into your opponent’s deck. [W][C] Ancient Tentacle: Does 30 damage plus an additional 10 damage for every Dome Fossil, Helix Fossil, and Old Amber in your discard pile. Weakness: Grass (+30) Resistance: none Retreat: 1 Kabutops LV.59 – Fighting – HP130 Stage 2 – Evolves from Kabuto [F] Ancient Scythe: 20 damage. You may choose 1 Dome Fossil, Helix Fossil, or Old Amber from your hand and discard it. If you do, this attack does an additional 50 damage. [F][C][C] Rock Slide: 60 damage. Does 10 damage to 2 of your opponent’s Benched Pokémon. Weakness: Grass (+30) Resistance: none Retreat: 2 Aerodactyl LV.47 – Fighting – HP80 Stage 1 – Evolves from Old Amber Poke-Power: Excavate You can use this Power once during your turn. Choose 1 Dome Fossil, Helix Fossil, or Old Amber card from your deck, show it to your opponent, and put it in you hand. Shuffle your deck afterward. This Power can’t be used if this Pokémon is affected by a Special Condition. [C][C] Hyper Beam: 30 damage. Flip a coin, if heads discard 1 Energy attached to the Defending Pokémon. Weakness: Lightning (+20) Resistance: Fighting (-20) Retreat: 1 Thank you for reading, and all advice is appreciated. - 27 minutes ago
