One of our endangered animals in the world are polar bears. They are warm blooded animals so when global warming is melting the ice and heating the north pole. Polar bears have nothing to eat because the other animals are dying off. The only thing for them to eat is each other their own kind. That means alot of polar bears will all die more quickly. Now today their is only 25,000 to 40,000 polar bears existing today. Male polar bears may grow 10 feet tall and weigh over 1400 pounds. Females reach seven feet and weigh 650 pounds. Since they do not have much food to survive they are dying quickly. Polar bears live up to age 25. Now that is to old for the polar bears because they are not going to live up to age 25 unless they find a way to find food. When global warming is heating the ice they wont have anyplace to stay. Plus 70 percent of baby polar bears die on their third birthday. Humans are polar bears predator they hunt them for fur and other needs. If they do not find a place to live on the Artic Circle they would swim for 100's of miles. Humans could help stop the killing of polar bears. They could also add more places for polar bears to live at the zoo.

i have to do a presentation about polar bears and i find this information very useful. and i cant believe that people actually hunt polar bears ! thats so selfish that even now their endangered and they still hunt them ! i think it should be banned just as whale hunting has been. (i think lol)
