Poop Freeze Spray : Does It Really Work? Dog Waste Removal That's Ice Cold! Watch the Poop Freeze Video Commercial!

Let me start off by saying that I don't necessarily like to use the word 'poop'. But, it got your attention, right? That's what the makers of this innovative new product were hoping for.

This might remind you of the product in Jack Black's film "Envy", which features 'Va-POO-Rize", his character in the film develops it to make dog feces disappear completely. Sounds awesome, right? Not quite doable...yet, however there is a new, product that is seriously named: 'Poop Freeze'. Seriously.

PoopFreeze.com, claims that you can just 'Freeze it & Toss'! The whole concept of the product is to make otherwise messy and soft dog feces frozen solid for easy disposable. (Note to self...I can't believe I'm writing about dog feces!) Anyways, Poop Freeze comes in an aerosol can and costs anywhere from $10-$20 depending on the size of the can.

The company claims that it is environmentally friendly product, contains no CFCs and is safe to use on plant life (i.e. grass). 

I can't say that I've tried the product yet but I've done a few searches online for it. Some consumers swear by it and others say that it doesn't do it's job of freezing the poo very well.

The manufacturer's website says that it is mainly for pet emergencies, like when your pet has loose stools in the house. The people that wrote the negative reviews used it on full-fledged dog doo while they were out walking their dog. I could see how the aerosol can could dry freeze lose stools, rendering them frozen and therefore much easier for clean up. I'm a cat owner so I don't have to worry about feces clean up most of the time, unless my pet is sick. I might consider purchasing a can to have 'for emergencies' and try it out then.

Part of me wonders if using a generic can of keyboard dust cleaner would work in a similar fashion to this product. It, too, comes in an aerosol can and is highly compressed. I know that if you spray keyboard dust/electronic dust cleaner for a long period of time, the outside of the can gets really cold and the product warns that it may cause freeze burns. 

All in all, the concept of 'Poop Freeze' is a very interesting one. To say it lacks creativity is an understatement!
