Portable Oxygen Concentrator

Oxygen Concentrator System

There are a few different options that you have when you need home oxygen, but one of the most popular choices is the oxygen concentrator system. In order to determine whether or not this is going to be the best delivery of home oxygen for you, there are a few things that you are going to want to be aware of.

The Details

First of course you want to learn more about this type of portable oxygen concentrator and what it has to offer you. This type of portable oxygen concentrator is an electric oxygen delivery system that is about the size of a large suitcase. It is therefore not one that is very mobile so you will not be able to take it around everywhere with you, but it is ideal for having in the home.

The portable oxygen concentrator here extracts some of the air from the room and then separates the oxygen from other gases in the air. When in use, remember that the portable oxygen concentrator should be placed in an open area. Never keep it in a closet or other enclosed space when you are using it because not only will this possibly ruin the system but can be hazardous as well.

One of the main advantages of this oxygen delivery system is that minimal maintenance is required. This is helpful because of course you don’t want to have to spend any more time looking after this system than you absolutely need to. Plus, maintenance bills like that can end up getting quite costly, but you will not have to worry about that here.

Another advantage is that with this portable oxygen concentrator system you will have access to an unlimited supply of oxygen. Never will you have to worry about running low and having to fill up your oxygen.

Now there are a few disadvantages as well, which you are going to want to be just as aware of. For one, this oxygen system requires electricity and so as a result, it will increase your electric bill. Depending on how often you have to use it, this will determine how much extra you are going to be spending, and so if you use it all the time expect to pay a great deal more on your already expensive electric bill.

It is important to weigh out all the advantages and disadvantages of an oxygen delivery system before deciding on it, so that you get the right one for you and your needs.
