The resort also offers a sea trek on the floor of the sea. Other resort activities and adventures above the sea include parasailing, windsurfing, kayaking, snorkeling and swimming. There are also several caves which fringe the resort, allowing the opportunity for deep cave exploration. One of the caves even reaches depths of some 400 feet beneath the resort's lagoon. Lectures, workshops and walking tours round out the list of activities available to guests.

Guests who really want to live it up while they are on vacation can have the option of reserving the luxury package. The luxury package is based on double occupancy and will include airfare as well as accommodations for 7 days and six nights. Four nights of the six night stay will be spent at a villa that is either over the water or on the beach. The remaining two nights will be spent in one of the underwater resort suites. Also included in the luxury package is a submarine trip, scuba diving and snorkeling, meals and drinks, photography services, a keepsake album, golf, tennis, water activities and wine tasting classes.

The resort will also offer a number of luxurious amenities. A full-service spa will offer a wide range of treatments and services, including lemon-sugar glow rubs, floral-coconut oil massages and papaya facials. The underwater gourmet restaurant will tempt the palates of guests with offerings that are inspired by local island flavors. Guests will also have the opportunity to socialize in the resort's lounge, which will offer a full bar as well as selections from an expansive wine cellar.

Those guests who wish to maintain their workout routine during their vacation will enjoy the state-of-the-art fitness center, featuring treadmills, Stairmasters, balance balls, free weights and elliptical machines. The resort will also include a library that is fully stocked with periodicals and a variety of fine reading selections. If guests are interested in diving, they will find everything they might need in the resort's dive shop, including a recompression chamber. The resort boutique will offer handmade items hailing from various ports in Asia and the South Pacific, including custom jewelry, spa products, original art and convenience items.

Perhaps the most romantic amenity of all is the wedding chapel. After completion it will be the only underwater wedding chapel in the world, providing a truly unique way for couples to join their lives together. The resort even offers a private island, Honeymoon Island that couples can reserve for complete privacy while enjoying a romantic picnic.

Over the years, a number of themed hotels and resorts have been designed and opened for the public. While Poseidon will not be the first undersea resort, it could very well stand poised to be one of the most luxurious.
