Posting Links for Google to Make Cash Explained
80There has been a lot of talk about these "get paid to post Google links" programs. These programs have nothing to do with posting links for Google at all. In fact this is just a fancy name for the Google adsense program.
Someone had the wise idea of coming up with a different name for Google adsense to confuse everyone. This is what a marketer might call "spin" - taking an idea and blowing it way out of proportion. Google adsense has been around for almost a decade, and this new 'posting links for Google' idea makes it sound like Google adsense is something new. They are the same thing!
"Posting links for Google" doesn't exist!
First of all they are not links
They are ads (advertising). They always have been referred to as ads, adsense units, or Google advertising. Not Google links. They are not links. If you open your HTML code you won't see links there, you'll see an advertising code.
For almost a decade web marketers and small business circles have been talking about them as Google ads, not as posting links for Google. The person that came up with this idea of calling them links only aims to confuse others and deceive to rip them off based on a program that, dare I say it again, has been around for almost 10 Years.
If you call Google adsense ads "links that I posted for Google" you are not only misleading others, but possibly breaching Google's TOS.
Secondly - You are not posting them
You cannot post links for Google, you can install their advertising code or monetize your website, but you are never actually posting links for them. You are running CPC ads on your website, hub pages, or blog, plain and simple. There is no "posting" going on. You also have almost no control over which ads will show up. In addition, image ads may show up, they are not links, they are ads.
Finally, for those people who have been under a rock for the last 20 years
Links are relationships a webmaster creates between one page and another page. The webmaster chooses the link.
On the other hand advertisments are installed (not posted) by a webmaster on a template (not a page) and the webmaster doesn't choose the ad URL, because, well, it's not a link.
This "Posting links for Google" thing needs to be cleared up once and for all.

I have seen a lot of ads lately on this and the people in the ads claim they are making money. They always have new cars in the ads.
You can make money with adsense, but it's got nothing to do with posting links. It's plain old content monetization.
Plain, simple and to the point. Just the way I like it! Thanks for a great hub.
Thanks for this information, I was wondering about this make money with google program.
Haha
Posting Links for Google ... you're joking right?
I've seen this somewhere else before. But didn't give it much attention. I mean come on this is hilarious. Where exactly has Google a place for you or me to post these links other than my website (adsense) or their search engine (Adwords).
Great post, you made my day.
Thanks for clearing this up. Whether it is adsense, posting links or anything else, is anyone actually making the money they say they are?
I made 3,000 from doing this !!! Its not a scam or anything
Crystal clear Sir alexd181 crystal clear, thanks for clearing that up once and for all!:)
Excellent job thanks for info first one on SE on big G aswell congrats!!!
lol i feel sorry for the unemployed mom running her scam as it has clearly been revealed! thank u for taking time to explain this whole thing!
I once has a website with Adsense ads on it. The income from the ads was much less than the hosting fees. Making thousands of dollars through Adsense is very unlikely. Google didn't get big by paying out money.
