There are some foods out there that are natural, delicious and have add benefits of energy. This is natural energy straight from the earth. Not some drink that is packed with a million teaspoons of sugar.

Eating these foods will not only give you energy but they have tremendous health benefits as well. Here we go.

Blueberries

Yeah, you heard me right. Blueberries!!!

I love blueberries. I think they are delicious and the added benefits of eating them rocks too. Blueberries are jammed with antioxidant nutrients. Antioxidants are powerful to help boost your immune system. Blueberries are also packed with vitamin C, have nearly no fat and a half cup of them have almost 2 grams of fiber.

AWESOME!!!

Avocado

Not everyone I know likes avocados. I LOVE THEM! Especially on sandwiches or on sourdough bread with a little salt. (I am salivating right now.) And do not even get me started on guacamole.

Avocados are full of fat. WHAT!? You may say. No no no, this is unsaturated fat. The good stuff that our body needs. Helps increase energy levels and is a necessity in our diet. Avocados are also full of vitamin C, B6 and folate, which helps reduce the chance of heart attack.

Eggs

Another one of my favorite foods.  Eggs are packed full of so much good stuff and are a incredible source of nutrients and energy to start your day.

Studies have shown that the nutrients in eggs can help less the chance of heart and eye disease.  Sometimes eggs get a bad wrap, but they are considered by some to be one of the best overall foods for energy and nutrients there is.

Salmon

Salmon, although loved by most, is the only food on my list that I don't absolutely love, but the health benefits are enough to get me to eat it.

Salmon is full of omega 3 fatty acid.  This is a tremendous health booster, which can also help reduce arthritic pains and control mood disorders like depression.  The acids in fish are an incredible natural remedy for minor aches and pains.
