World Of Warcraft Got The Power Leveling Ability Right.

When it comes to power leveling in World Of Warcraft I have to say that Blizzard did a really good job of something that other role playing games always seemed to miss in designing their games.

I have been playing oline role playing games since there were only text based games and power leveling a new character was easy if you could find a high level character to run you around.

Blizzard actually designed World Of Warcraft in such a way that if a high level player tries power leveling a much lower level the experienced gained by the low level really does not make for effective power leveling.

Here is a link that shows how Power Leveling in World Of Warcraft is possible through solo questing.

However, another thing they did with World Of Warcraft was change the experience charts used by older role playing games to a more player friendly format that allows for power leveling in WoW by doing questing. Older games had huge jumps in experienced required from level to level while World Of Warcraft has a much lower jump in experience from level to level.

As time has gone by experienced players began to put together Alliance leveling guides and Horde leveling guides that served as questing walk throughs for those looking to power level toons.

While these power leveling guides were very effective it was kind of a pain to have to alt+tab in and out of the game to read what to do next or you would have to print out hundreds of pages and read along as you tried power leveling your toon.

Recently these guides for power leveling have moved into the game as WoW Addons that you can easily install right into your gaming interface and they make for much easier power leveling.
