Travelling

Travelling is an integral part of our life. A large percentage of people all over the world travel everyday for one reason or the other. However, the time taken for travelling and distance covered as well as reason for the travel may be different.

Reasons for travelling

People are mainly required to travel to reach their place of activities and return. For example, students will be going to Schools / Colleges. Working people will be going to their workplaces etc. Apart from this if you are going to visit a friend’s home you need to travel, if you are going for a picnic you need to travel, if you are going to attend a marriage party or a birthday you need to travel, and the list goes on. The fact is that we are involved in travelling one way or the other.

Modes of travelling

In today’s world a wide variety of travelling modes are available starting from hand-pulled rickshaws to supersonic jet planes, though all of them are not available to everyone. My favourite mode of travel is train because when you go for a long journey by train you are sure to enjoy the real beauty of nature – mountains, lakes, oceans, forests – all from one place, which I feel is not possible with any other mode of travelling.

So far I have written about the positive side of travelling. But there is a negative side too. A travel to the hospital or a legal firm may be the ones people would like to avoid the most. Further, it is not that everyone likes to travel or enjoy it. There are many people who do not like to travel at all, yet most of them have to do it.

My suggestion is that just like your favourite hobbies, make your travel enjoyable so that you feel comfortable while travelling.
