Pratichee Mahaptra and Anushka Manchanda in bikini

music group form by Music Channel V (India) through the singing reality
show.
Anushka Manchanda won the singing talent contest COKE V POPSTARS in 2002 and went on to form the first all girls Indian Pop band named VIVA. Pratichee Mahaptra was another contest to won and be a part of this VIVA group. But the four girls could not last long. They develop different and split. After their split, Anushka Manchanda pursued her career in singing and she even worked as VJ for Channel V for some time.
Anushka was born in Delhi on 11 Feb 1985.
She got her first playback singing in 2004 in a Tamil movie “MANMADHAN”. Music director Yuvan Shankar Raja gave her first brake in this movie with song “O Mahire”. Then he repeated her in the movies “Arinthum Ariyamalum” (2005) for the song “Theepidika Theepidika” and “Kalvanin Kadhali” giving her the song “Kudakkooli Koduthachu”.
Her first Hindi playback song was the title song for “Golmaa” in 2006 which was hit. She now doing playback for Tamil and Hindi movies. Her song “Naughty Naughty” won her STARDUST award. Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy’s “Chandni Chowk To China” she sang the title song as well. More recently she gave “Oh Sexy Mama” in both version of Tamil movie “Yavarum Nalam” and Hindi “13B”.
She is now trying her luck in acting. She is doing a small role in forthcoming movie “Dulha Mil Gaya”. She also have 3 songs to her credit in that movie.
