you need to allow 30 minutes for the prawns to marinate in the sauce before you cook them. If possible, use  large prawns, such as tiger prawns.you can use frozen prawns, but defrost them completely by moving them from the freezer to the fridge at least 12 hours before using them.

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Method:

  1. Peel the skin from the ginger, and grate or finely chop it.

  2. Mix together the soy sauce, oil, wine vinegar and chopped ginger in an ovenproof dish.

  3. Add the prawns, and stir them into the mixture so that they are well coated.

  4. Leave the prawns to marinate for 30 minutes.
