Anytime is the perfect time for prayer...
and right now our country, it's leaders and the brave men and women serving our country need our prayer like never before.
Unless you've been stranded on a desert island for the last 6 months or so you've heard much of what's wrong in our country.
- High prices at the pump and the check out stand
- People loosing their homes
- Unemployment
- Wars and rumors of war
- Stock market volitility
It's clear we need guidiance...
Question is...
Where can we turn?
Where can we find the answers?
The answers are very clear and they can be found in our instruction manual The Bible. The Bible holds the answers to any question we could possibly have about anything and one of the anwsers for our nations current condition can be found in 2 Chronicles 7:14...[If] My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

I received this prayer in an email not long ago. The email claims it's Billy Graham's Prayer For Our Nation
In any case I have to agree with it.
'Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask your forgiveness and to seek your direction and guidance. We know Your Word says, 'Woe to those who call evil good,' but that is exactly what we have done. We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values. We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery. We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare. We have killed our unborn and called it choice. We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable. We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self esteem. We have abused power and called it politics. We have coveted our neighbor's possessions and called it ambition. We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression. We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment. Search us, Oh God, and know our hearts today; cleanse us from every sin and set us free.
Amen!'
Proverbs 3:5,6. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge HIM, and He shall direct your paths.
He is always there for you. You just have to ask and be AWARE of his message. It comes in different forms.

Almighty God, I ask you today to bless, not only the USA, but my country Trinidad and Tobago. I ask you to Lord to help everyone to turn to you for guidance and protection in these uncertain times.
Let all the people, worldwide learn peace and to love each other to make this world a better place.
Give the new President elect, Barack Obama, the strength and courage to perform all that is expected of him. I pray that he helps the US economy to turn around and everyone can enjoy prosperity for this new year.

Dear Lord Jesus,
We your people, who are called by you name, teach us how to be humble, to put others before ourselves, to serve one another as you did when you walked on the earth and as you taught us to do in Your Word. Teach us to call upon you in prayer and to long for more of you in our hearts. Show us how to put you first in everything we do and to know that nothing can touch us without your permission. Help us to turn from the things that take us away from having a loving relationship with you.
Please guide and direct our leaders with your wisdom and protect your people. Be our strength in times of trouble and enable us to share our faith with those who need to know you. Please Bless us all with more desire to know you better. Bless our World!

I thank You for your unfailing watchcare over every inhabitant of the earth, and for working our Your purposes even when we seem to mess it up. Lord I lift up this nation and it's leaders to you. This nation was founded on your principals and your word.
Today our nation is in great need of your intersession, we have drifted from our founding principals and have became complacent and many have been deceived.
Lord it's my prayer today that you would open the eye's of all your children to this deceit and that you would impress upon them the importance of reestablishing those founding principles in our nation today.
In Jesus' Name I pray...Amen
Father I pray that you bless us, lead us, guide us and keep us in your hands and that your will be done in our lives.

I thank God for this tiwitter page and ask the Father to continue to bless this world. If I have learned anything in the short time I have been a follower of Christ is that when thins are looking pretty bleek, God is working full strength. Take this site and all the prayers as an example. This time of shaking in our country is taking us to the Father in prayer. As Dr. Stanley says we fight our battles on our knees. I also pray for each person that has and will leave a comment on this blog, as we.. as myself, that they demonstrate Christ in there daily lives. And remeber that God is in control no matter the circumstance.

Dear Father, We ask that you bless our nation and bring to it financial freedom for each and every household and peace amongst countries, we ask that you send our soldiers home and keep them safe while they are apart from their families this holiday season and we ask that you keep our new President safe and forgive the current President for all that has happened,as you know it is a tough job and although many of us did not understand his choices we all need to forgive and move past the situation. In Jesus name AMEN!!!
