I have found in my life that prayer really makes a difference. I do a lot of praying everyday all day long. Prayer has helped me throught some pretty rough times.God does answer prayer. From needing a tire fixed to not knowing where one of my daughters were that we did not hear from since christmas and then she called.

Here are some scriptures that might help and show you Gods mercy:

Matthew 7:7-8

Ask and it shall be given you: seek, and ye shall find: knoc, and it shall be opened unto you:

For every one that asketh recieveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

John 14:13-14

And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

John 15:7

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

I have found that these scriptures are a real comfort in times of problems.I would not know what to do without God in my life.Prayer has become a very important part of my life. Try it sometime and you will see it will comfort you also.
