Precious Lara Quigaman was born on January 3 , 1983 in Taguig Manila Philippines she is a model, a freelance webpage writer, Host. She joins a beauty pageant an crowned as a Miss International 2005 held in Tokyo, Japan. She was the fourth Filipina beauty won as Miss International Gemma Cruz in 1964, Aurora Pijuan in 1970, Melanie Marquez in 1979. She was also a Binibining Pilipinas International Title Holder for 2005.

Lara was the eldest of the fourth children of the late Nelson Quigaman living at Ligao City in the provence of Albay and Prencesita San Agustin her mother was a registered nurse, were she grew up in Biñan, Laguna and eventually in Bahrain, where her father worked. But before moving to Bahrain she took up Communication Arts that lasted a semester at the University of Sto. Thomas in Manila. In the United Kingdom she took up Media Production and Communication in Filton College. She also took up a Bachelor's Degree of Arts in Childhood and Youth Studies at Bristol's Open University for a year. Her first job was a promotion personnel. She also worked as a part time Supporting Artist for BBC's Casualty America's Counter part of ER, She is one of the host of Wowowee in a Noon Time Show. Her first pageant is in the school were her classmates voted as a represntative the Fresshman in 2001.
