You called her your Cinderella

Eight times a day by phone

And lavished her hourly

With your cyber adoration

Fifty e-mails every day

And that’s no exaggeration

Suspicious though it seemed

The attention stopped at five

A convincing story explained

The truth you chose to hide

Then teased her about the wife

The secret that she feared

Joked it was a harem really

Her insecurity on trial

Was it just a distraction

That pretty photo you e-mailed

And ask if it would do

A diamond such as this

How many times did you ask her

Are you happy, healthy and safe

That’s all that matters

In the world to me you’d say

And bad enough to prey upon her naivety

You even caught her children

In your little web of lies

Cards and letters in the mail

love poems sent online

Smiles via skype

A courtship over three months time

You made her laugh I’ll give you that

Your Wife however made her cry

With vengeance I’d love to hunt you down

You are a predator, a true “wanker”

You are an evil clown

This is a photo of Mark Pearce. He posed as a single male looking for a serious relationship on a dating site. He is what I would call an online predator. He hurt a very dear friend of mine. If you see him on a dating site, he's married and well, scum.

Other than being male I'm not sure what he has in common with you rdfrank, but if I had his address I'd surely let you kick his ass.

Randy, you have done well in writing this in response to a hurt via deception. It would seem as though this individual, is someone insecure, and it would seem by looking at him, in need of self absorbed reassurance. He took advantage of someone who was vulnerable, and fed his own sick desires to feel some form of acceptance.

I would not mind joining in on the ass kicking, are you selling tickets?

Ya AIDY I think he is unhappy with his life and looks for a fantasy to live in as long as he can keep the deception up. I feel bad that he is miserable enough to need to do this. I feel worse that he preys on others to feed his own ego.

Awesome poem. I totally felt it and the read was fantastic. Sad but awesome topic, RB. And that top photo, excellent choice (yours always are). What a terrible situation.

Thanks for the comment Frieda. I've never tried internet dating, but her story would definitely scare me off it!

What a great poem, Randy, and what a scumbag! I hope he gets his teeth knocked out (sorry, I'm still upset over my pedophile-post). Thank you for sharing as always Randy. I love all your poetry-ideas!

Awesome Randy! I second what AIDY said. Scary story for sure. It is truly repulsive to think stuff like this happens. The image of the clown sent shivers up my spine and seems well suited for one of such a mentality!

I wanted my friend to have some kind of retribution. Thank for commenting Shamel.

Thanks for your great comment Invictus. People alway talk about stuff like this. Really weird to have it happen in my own backyard.

Randy: Good poem...scary subject! I know this kind of thing happens more than we realize. Glad you put his picture up.

Hi Alekhouse. He's done it before, according to his wife. I assume he'll try again. Maybe if someone googles his name this poem will come up? If I could prevent someone else being hurt like my sweet friend then I'll be very happy.

Thanks for the comment CG. I'll relay your hugs.

Since he hurt her via the internet Manly, seems only right to strike back the same way. :)

I was upset and writing this made me feel better! Thanks for checking up on me Cris.

It's sad that there are lots of them out there just like him, RB. I'm sorry he hurt your friend. I've got stories, good and bad about meeting people online. The internet certainly makes deception easier for those willing to use it that way.

This is why I love you Randy, you are not afraid to expose the culprit. I feel really sorry for his wife too, as Im sure she does not have a clue about his online alter ego.

Hi Mella! Ya aint I tough... here on the internet, hiding behind my avatar. lol. Actually when his wife called my girlfriend she said it wasn't the first time he's done this, so she knows.

wow - this one really caught me off guard. Because this "type" of thing also happened to me. Different guy, different set of circumstance/details, but the little deceptions, outright lies, alter ego type behavior.

YEP, been there, done that.

And iT SUCKS Big Time!

Hmmm, just thought of something, maybe I should write a lil something about my culprit too... LOL

Kudos Randy!

sending you & your friend Blessings & Love.

You should Snookie! Perhaps they would all think twice if poetry or a short story was to follow! Love and Light back to you.
