Whether you are for the Democratic or Republican parties you should see he same things. President Obama said unemployment may reach 8%, the reality is we are closing in on 10%. I ask you; Do you know anyone that is out of work? Do you know anyone that is looking for a job? Did they find the type of job they were looking for? I have two friend's in the unemployment way. My answer would have to be, yes, yes and no. These are people that have had their jobs for 20 and 30 years. When they ask for my thoughts on the economy, I give them my prediction. My prediction is that unemployment will rise for at least a year. I truly believe that we will be over 10% very shortly and we will peak out at approximately 15% . Prediction: The next election will see the pendulum swing to the right. The pendulum always swings back and forth and the voters make it do so. President Obama is now falling in the polls, and this leads me to explain what is going to happen. The next election we will see the Democrats do what the Republicans did in the last election. They will not want the President to campaign with them. The President will be a lame duck in his first term, and they will not want to be associated with him. We all saw how well this strategy worked for the Republicans in 2008. The voters will want the United States to remain a capitalistic country. There are many things most of us desire, one is earning what you get. Anyone that succeeds does not want to give everything to those that do not succeed. This is what our President and Congress wants. Entrepreneurs, who needs them, our government will provide. At least that is what our President wants. Research and Development on anything, who will have the money for it, besides the government. But the people that already have a lot of money (and I mean a lot), and high ranking government officials will have whatever they want. My G-D, we will be a third world country if we continue to follow the Presidents plans. Fear not, he and his family will be fine. I'm waiting for Obama to try to be like Hugo Chavez, and want many more terms in office. If we don't stop him, we will be "the United States of the World."

eovery, Liberals have changed so much from what they used to be. I know this because I was one of them, shhhh! They no longer reason things out. The young liberal's are the worst. They don't know who they are voting for, they just see Democrat. They have no idea what is going on except, mom-dad, I need some more money. Wait till mom & dad don't have any money!
You have written a fine and prescient article, friend. I agree with all of your words and I do think the American Way will make a comeback soon. Dismantling all this crap may not be so easy.
You are correct James. It will take years for anyone to figure out where all the money has gone. This was Obama's plan, as he follows the words of Saul Alinsky.
The people have no idea of what is going on and why.
Exit polls show votes were state oriented and had nothing to do with him.It was the economy.Which has 8 years of republican massive spending and financial corruption.

The first few years of the Bush admin. he cleaned up Clinton's recession. When the computer industry tanked, so did the economy.
When Congress became Democratic, the Bush admin. tanked mostly due to lack of oversight. It has never been JUST the President, until now.

I think you may be pretty close, but there are so many left wings who do not listen to logic. But if the Republicans screw their heads on right, they can pick up a lot of seats.
