70Having a baby after a marriage is one of the things that most (if not all) of the women all over the world want. It's a given, it doesn't matter if a woman is asian, american or african, whatever her race is, she surely wants to have a baby.
To some, having a baby is what they consider as the essence of being a woman itself. But before that is accomplished, a woman of course has to be pregnant, and pregnancy comes with a lot of questions in mind, not just to the one giving birth, but also to her husband, so in this hub, we will be answering some of the general pregnancy questions.

1. What are the symptons of pregnancy?
Common clues that you're pregnant is that you have a tender, swollen breast, you experience fatigue often because the hormone progesterone soar. You also experience slight bleeding or cramping, Nausea and vomiting, food cravings (very common) , headaches, constipation, mood swings (guys hate this) and raised basal body temperature.
2. What to do to relieve nausea and vomiting?
Don't leave you stomach empty, eat small meals throughout the day, about 5-6 times. Fresh air is also very important and do not eat fatty foods that are hard to digest. When you wake up in the morning, get up slowly as movements can make nausea worse.
3. How much weight should you gain during pregnancy
Normally, a pregnant woman will gain around a pound a week, so that makes it 3-4 additional pounds per month. Ideal additional weight during pregnancy is 25-35 pounds but of course it depends on your body built. If you're overweight ideal would be just 15-25 additional pounds.
4. Can i exercise during pregnancy?
Yes, but make sure to exercise safely - don't go to a boxing gym ok? Walking, swimming, stationary cycling and yoga are the most common forms of exercise those are good for pregnant. Just make sure that you're doing it lightly. Don't work to the point of exhaustion just like a non-pregnant woman can do. But before doing these exercise, consult with a doctor first to check if you're fit to do it.
5. What to eat during pregnancy?
Eat foods that are high fiber such as whole-graid breads, pasta, cerals, rice, fruits and vegatables, dairy products and calcium rich foods, find a good source of vitamin A such as carrots, pumpkins, spinach, water squash. Foods with vitamin C should also be a part of your diet.
6. What not to eat during pregnancy?
Don't go to parties and drink alcohol because it's has always been linked to premature delivery, birth defects, mental retardation and low birth weight babies. If you're a coffee lover, you might want to limit to no more than 300 mg per day. Don't eat foods that are high in cholesterol. Shark, swordfish, mackerel and tilefish should also be avoided as they contain high level of mercury. Stay away from soft cheeses as well because they may cause listeria infection.
7. Is it just normal to secrete milk from the breast before delivery?
Yes, this is called Galactorrhea which is milk secretion from the nipple. Many women leak some fluid on or before that ninth month, it is also known as colostrum and pale.
8. Is there anything that I can do to give natural birth and avoid caesarean?
Yes, although there are some mothers who prefer caesarean for some reasons like the baby is too big or the baby is in a different position, what you can do if you prefer natural birth is to go to your antenatal classes and listen very carefully to your midwife or doctor during labor. If you do your regular breathing and push when they tell you to, you'll most likely to pull it off.
